How to Study the Childhood of the Prominent? The Conceptual Framework of the Project

The article presents the conceptual framework of descriptive biographical studies on childhood among 114 prominent Poles. It discusses methodological dilemmas related to use biography in reconstruction past, and characterizes applied research procedure as well categories for describing childhood, Polish historical context, environment outstanding youth.
